Chaos Rising Project released its second album, “Chaos Continuum”, on CD on 31 October 2026. The collection brings together ten independently released songs in fully remixed form, including “Dismal Reawakening”, a brutal death-metal track with Luana Dametto of Crypta on vocals rather than drums. Stéphanie Nolf plays bass, Francesca Mancini plays guitar and solo guitar, and Ely Kamyk performs the drums on the song.
Ten tracks on one CD
The album opens with “Dismal Reawakening” and continues with “Altered Reality”, “Doomed To Chaos”, “Still We Die”, “I Could Be That Girl”, “Army Of Chaos”, “Hell Within”, “A Light In The Darkness”, “The Worst Is To Come” and “Hidden Dimensions In The Realm of Space”. Tina, the German illustrator behind Dark light illustrations, created the artwork for the release.
The project’s music spans heavy metal, thrash, black, death, doom, industrial, symphonic and melodic styles. Its official video describes “Dismal Reawakening” as a performance built on crushing riffs, relentless drums and ferocious vocals. Nolf mixed the song with Chaos Rising Prod., and also edited the video.
More than 60 contributors
Founded in 2019 by French musician Stéphanie Nolf, Chaos Rising is an international collective rather than a fixed line-up. More than 60 women from 20 countries have contributed to its recordings, with different artists appearing from one song to the next. The project has released 29 singles and three covers, followed by a 20-track double album in 2022.
Nolf plays bass on “Dismal Reawakening” and has mixed the track. Alongside Chaos Rising, her projects include Ashes Arise, Endless Fall, Syrinx and Unsafe. She also helped establish the collective as a space where women can contribute as musicians, vocalists, songwriters, visual artists and other music professionals.
“Chaos Continuum” is available on CD through the Chaos Rising Project Bandcamp page.
