Melissa Bonny has published the full concert video for her solo release “Live from the Apocalypse” on 2 November 2026, one day after the live album came out. The 13-song performance features Bonny on vocals with Max van Esch on guitar, Siebe Sol Sijpkens on bass and synth, and Morten Løwe Sørensen on drums.
The film includes “I’m a Monster”, “Snake Bite”, “Devil On My Tongue”, “The Teeth Of My Thieves”, “Afterglow”, “Highs and Lows”, “Crescent Moon Interlude”, “Spellbound”, “Cherry Red Apocalypse”, “I Don’t Like You”, “Oh no!”, “Mama, Let Me Go” and “Snow On Mars”.
A live set from Rusty Reel
Mirko Witzki directed the video and produced it through Witzki Visions. Sebastian Pielnik, Vincent De Fallois and Witzki worked as directors of photography, while Kami Zero created the make-up and costumes. The concert was filmed at Rusty Reel Studios.
Jakob Krickau worked as the front of house engineer, and Jacob Hansen mixed and mastered the audio. Victoria Wonka took the accompanying photographs.
The video follows Melissa Bonny’s earlier release of “Snow On Mars”, which arrived on 20 October as a preview of the project. Our earlier report on the live video noted the same production team and the album’s planned 1 November release.
Crowdfunded solo release
Bonny first announced “Live from the Apocalypse” in October as a crowdfunded solo release, sharing “I’m A Monster” as its first preview. The announcement listed 14 tracks and named guest musicians Yu Umehara, Adrienne Cowan and Fabienne Erni. The concert video contains 13 performances, beginning with “I’m a Monster” and ending with “Snow On Mars”.
Bonny is the vocalist and founder of symphonic metal band Ad Infinitum, which she formed in 2018. She previously sang with Evenmore and Rage of Light, and also performs with The Dark Side of the Moon. Her solo work under her own name sits alongside those band projects.
