Fabienne Erni is a metal harpist from Switzerland. She plays with Eluveitie, Illumishade.
Swiss vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Fabienne Erni is celebrated for her soaring, emotive voice and deft Celtic harp playing. Born in Winterthur, Switzerland, she studied vocal performance and music pedagogy at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts before breaking into international metal acclaim. In 2017, she stepped into the spotlight when folk metal heavyweights Eluveitie introduced her as their clean lead singer and harpist. Her recorded debut on their studio album Ategnatos displayed her immense range, balancing serene folk melodies with massive rock climaxes. Seeking a dedicated outlet for cinematic, progressive modern metal, she co-founded the group Illumishade alongside guitarist Jonas Wolf, issuing the acclaimed concept records Eclypse and Another Side of You. Renowned for her technical control and radiant stage presence, Erni tours globally with both ensembles, establishing herself as one of the most distinctive and versatile voices in contemporary European metal.
