Without Warning have released their debut album “Exodus Simulation”, while the official video for “War of Deception” is now out on YouTube. The Finnish metalcore band announced the album on 1 November, following its release on 31 October 2026, and the new video gives the record another release-day focus. The album is independently published by Without Warning.
A record built independently
“Exodus Simulation” was developed over two years as a ten-track concept album about a possible future shaped by human choices. As we reported when the album was first announced, its themes include power, corruption, technological progress, environmental destruction and personal struggles. The title combines the idea of an exodus with a simulated future, rather than presenting its scenario as a prediction.
Bassist Aleksi Rintala composed the music and produced the album with Endeavor Soundworks. Rintala also arranged, mixed and mastered the release with the production company. The record features guest vocalist Chris Harms of Lord Of The Lost on “BREED”, while “Architect of Moira” served as the final preview before the album arrived.
A harsh central track
“War of Deception” uses a direct metalcore structure, moving from bleak verses and repeated choruses into a breakdown. Its lyrics describe isolation, guilt, anger and emotional collapse, with the closing section turning towards images of decay and personal destruction. The song reflects the album’s focus on individual suffering alongside its broader ideas about a damaged society.
The accompanying video was filmed and edited by vocalist Michaela “Micha” Tuomenoksa, who also wrote the lyrics. Rintala wrote the composition, while Rintala and Endeavor Soundworks arranged the track. The result places Tuomenoksa’s vocal performance against the band’s combination of heavy guitar work, mechanical textures, electronic layers and dark atmosphere.

Michaela “Micha” Tuomenoksa is Without Warning’s vocalist and the band’s female musician. She wrote the words for “War of Deception” and filmed and edited its official video, extending her role beyond the vocal performance. The current line-up also includes guitarist Juuso Javanainen, bassist Aleksi Rintala and drummer Lauri Tuomenoksa.
The release follows the band’s earlier 2026 single “BREED”, which featured Harms, and “Architect of Moira”, the video released shortly before the album. With “Exodus Simulation” now available on streaming platforms, “War of Deception” represents the album’s most recent visual presentation rather than a separate new album announcement.
