PAARA have released their third album, “Laulut tulen ja jään”, through Dusktone today, 30 October 2026. The full-album premiere is now live on YouTube, taking viewers through all nine tracks in sequence, from “Tuli” to “Jää”.
The album’s vocalists are Helmouth, Hahtezan and Zvartus. The complete running order is “Tuli”, “Kirveenkantaja”, “Vuorten varjoista”, “Kylmään kylään”, “Kutsuu M.A.N.A.”, “Lapsi päivännäkemätön”, “Pimeyteen”, “Pohjolan” and “Jää”. The video credits identify the record as a Finnish folk/black metal release and was uploaded on behalf of Dusktone.
This release-day premiere follows our earlier report on the album’s advance stream. That report covered the physical editions: a jewel-case CD with a booklet, black vinyl with an insert, and a digital edition. The album is available through Dusktone’s Bandcamp and web shop.
Hahtezan joined in 2017
Hahtezan has sung with PAARA since 2017. She appears on “Laulut tulen ja jään” alongside Helmouth and Zvartus, bringing a female vocal presence to the Finnish band’s third full-length. The album follows “Riitti”, which was released in 2018.

Song of the day
Crimson Day
“The Outsider”
A song about choosing isolation over surrendering your identity to social conformity, while struggling with the loneliness and pressure that come from remaining an outsider.
