Cage Fight have released their new song “Pig” with an official video confronting the unsolicited and inappropriate messages women receive online. The London crossover thrash band’s line-up features vocalist Rachel Aspe, guitarist James Monteith, drummer Nick Plews and bassist Will Horsman. The release was announced on 30 October 2026.
The video includes screenshots of real direct messages sent to Aspe. Their inclusion gives the song a direct connection to the harassment it addresses, while the band uses the track to criticise the behaviour of men who send unwanted messages and the wider lack of respect women encounter in digital spaces.
Real messages on screen
“Pig” continues Cage Fight’s aggressive, direct approach, pairing its metal attack with an explicit social subject. Rather than presenting online abuse as an abstract issue, the video shows the messages that reached the band’s singer, making the material personal as well as confrontational.
The song follows the group’s second album, “Exuvia”, which was released in 2026 through Spinefarm Records. We recently covered the band’s live studio performance of “Deathstalker” from that album in our earlier report on the Monolith Studios video. That session was recorded and mixed by Charlie Wilson Jnr, mastered by Ste Kerry and filmed and edited by David Silver, with additional camera work from Ricardo Marquez.
Rachel Aspe’s direct voice
Rachel Aspe sings for Cage Fight, and her vocal performance gives “Pig” a direct connection to the experiences described in the video. She has also been associated with Dividead and Eths. Aspe fronts the current line-up with James Monteith on guitar, Nick Plews on drums and Will Horsman on bass.
The band previously released its self-titled debut in 2022 before returning with “Exuvia” in 2026. “Pig” now extends that catalogue with a standalone statement about harassment that many women face when using the internet.
