Destruction of Orion will release the song “Better Days” on 27 November 2026, ahead of its third album, “Dimensions Of Chaos”. The Bulgarian funeral doom solo project will issue the album through Aesthetic Death as a digibook CD, gatefold 2LP and digital release.
A song about regret
The official credits identify Destruction of Orion as the project of Sofia-based musician Tehina Spasova, who wrote the lyrics, sings and plays all instruments. “Better Days” turns its title into a bleak hope for a past that never existed, with lyrics about guilt, shame, grief and the approach of death.
The track begins with a slow piano melody before adding heavy low-end tones, shimmering textures and forceful drums. Tormented vocals, choral voices and a mournful guitar solo build the song into a contrast between crushing funeral doom and distant, almost celestial sounds.
Tehina Spasova plays everything
Tehina Spasova has led Destruction of Orion since the project began in 2023, performing every musical role as well as singing. She also works with Silent Deep Ocean alongside her solo project. The new album follows “Decreasing Brightness” from 2024 and “States Of Horror” from 2025.
Third album on two formats
Aesthetic Death will release “Dimensions Of Chaos” on 27 November, with cover art by MassiveNode and internal artwork by Rhys Knight. The label has also reissued “States Of Horror” as a digibook CD. “Better Days” is available through the project’s online channels ahead of the album release.
