Elfensjón, Imy, Powerless and ViViX have released “Fallen”, a five-track collaborative EP bringing the four Japanese projects together six years after their first joint release. The physical edition arrived on 25 October 2026, while digital distribution is scheduled for November.
Four projects, five tracks
The EP follows 2020’s “Veiled” and combines progressive metal, symphonic arrangements, alternative rock and dark-fantasy storytelling. Rather than serving as a compilation, “Fallen” places the four projects under one concept, with intricate guitar work and cinematic arrangements shaping the release.
Imy combines composer myu’s music with Onineko’s illustrations. Powerless grew from producer MuryokuP’s earlier Vocaloid work, while ViViX brings guitarist and composer Masahiro “Godspeed” Aoki to the project. Elfensjón contributes its dark-fantasy approach.
Aoki wrote and mixed “Crossing the Haunted Kraken Waters”, which features bassist Bitoku and drummer MAKI. The EP also includes “Träumend” by Elfensjón, featuring vocalist YURiCa/Hanatan. Yasuji “Yasman” Maeda mastered the full release at Bernie Grundman Mastering Tokyo.
From “Veiled” to “Fallen”
The collaboration began with “Veiled” in 2020. Six years later, the four projects have returned with five new tracks that connect their different approaches to metal, electronic production, orchestral writing and atmospheric narrative. “Fallen” is available physically, with its digital edition due during November 2026.
