MIK, an atmospheric post-black metal project from El Salvador and Spain, announced its debut full-length album, “Ajmaq”, on 1 November 2026. The announcement presents the record as the first album from the project. No track listing, label, guest musicians, tour dates or release date were included in the announcement.

Three singles before “Ajmaq”

The album follows MIK’s earlier single “Ehecat”, released in 2025, and the 2026 singles “Yaot” and “Beheaded”. Those releases established the project’s atmospheric black metal and post-metal direction before the move to a full-length record. The band’s listed catalogue currently contains those three singles alongside “Ajmaq”.

Hilda Fernández on bass

Hilda Fernández plays bass in the current line-up. She performs with Elmer González, who provides the vocals and guitars. The available band information identifies Fernández as the project’s bassist but does not give a birth year or list earlier bands and side projects.
