STEFANIA SISTU has released “In the Wind”, a new single accompanied by an official lyric video, through Volcano Records Et Promotion today, 30 October 2026. The Italian vocalist follows yesterday’s “Illusion” with a more intimate song about absence, memory and the fear of disappearing from the memories of people we love.
A quieter kind of intensity
The track keeps Stefania Sistu’s rock identity while making room for harmonic detail, dynamic changes and a more intricate melodic arrangement. Its lyrics focus on the human wish to leave a lasting mark and find meaning that can survive time and death. The lyric video places those words at the centre of the release.
Musician and composer Daniele Pireddu continues his artistic partnership with Sistu, playing bass and guitar on the single and editing the video. Americo Rigoldi plays keyboard, piano and synth, while Manu Canu mixed the track. The release is available on Spotify, Apple Music and other major digital platforms, with the lyric video on YouTube.
Stefania Sistu’s vocal focus
Stefania Sistu sings on “In the Wind” and is also described as a singer-songwriter and vocal coach. Her recent work has moved between energetic rock, melodic metal and more reflective songwriting. We previously covered her single “Illusion” through Volcano Records, a lyric video about betrayal, disappointment and rebuilding trust in yourself.
The new song extends that introspective direction, shifting from the earlier track’s focus on personal recovery towards loss, remembrance and the fear of being forgotten. Sistu’s earlier singles also include “Surbile” and “Passengers of a Timeless Place”.
