Blackwater Holylight have released an official video for “Spades”, a song from their album “Not Here Not Gone”. The Portland, Oregon trio shared the clip on 30 October through Suicide Squeeze Records, with the album available on LP and CD. The band will begin a run of live dates in November, including three shows supporting Neurosis.
The video follows an underground poker heist that goes wrong. Its cast includes Petra Webb, Avery Merrifield, Camille Getz, Chris Daker, Bobby Heredia, Alexandra Bryson, Monki Diamond, Riley Stearns, Peter Troy and Gino Roberson. Sunny Faris wrote the video, served as its creative director and co-directed it with Jeremy Colegrove, while Duncan Robertson co-directed and shot it. Getz also edited the film.
This video was all for fun! We wanted to make a silly video with our friends and family to finish the year off with a project that felt freeing and creative for everyone. We hope you enjoy Spades - a journey through an underground poker heist gone wrong!
