Lita Ford, the guitarist and vocalist whose solo career followed her time in The Runaways, will headline Frontiers Rock Festival 2027 in Italy from 30 April to 2 May. The three-day hard rock and melodic rock event will take place at Live Club in Trezzo sull’Adda, near Milan, with Harem Scarem, Paul Laine, Guild Of Ages, Grand, Care Of Night and Vypera also confirmed in the first announcement on 29 October 2026.
The festival organisers said more artists will be added to the bill in the coming months. Tickets are already on sale, with early prices starting at €85 for one day and €240 for all three days. Several VIP options are also available.
Three days near Milan
Ford’s appearance comes shortly after a run of announcements about her next studio album. She released the digital single and video “Dracula” through Frontiers Records on 27 October, two days before this festival bill was revealed. Gary Hoey produced the song and played on it with Ford, while Bobby Rock recorded the drums and Max Norman mixed the track.
The single is the first music from Ford’s forthcoming concept album, “The Bride Wore Black”, which is tentatively due in late spring 2027. As we reported when she named the album, Ford described its story as a dark fairy tale with a tone closer to a PG-13 film than an adult horror story.
The entire record is based on a dark fairy tale. But it’s kind of a PG-13 sort of dark fairy tale, you know, like a Shrek movie or something like that.

Ford’s first Frontiers single
Ford signed with Frontiers earlier in October. “Dracula” was her first release for the Italian label and the opening song from the new album project. In our earlier report on the signing and single, she said the record had taken a long time to make and required the right team around her.
It’s been a long journey to create this magical dark fairytale album for everyone to enjoy. I needed the perfect team to make that happen and to help give this powerful record a life it deserves.

Lita Ford’s guitar legacy
Ford has been the guitarist and vocalist of her solo band since 1983 and was born in 1958. She first became known as the lead guitarist of The Runaways in the late 1970s before building a solo career that reached its commercial peak with the 1988 album “Lita”. That record included “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever”, her duet with Ozzy Osbourne.
Her later studio releases included “Living Like a Runaway” in 2012 and “Time Capsule” in 2016. The Frontiers Rock Festival set will place her current album cycle alongside performances from seven confirmed acts, with the remaining names still to be announced.
