Kamelot will return to Spain for two shows on the European leg of the “Dark Asylum World Tour”. The American symphonic and power metal band will play Razzmatazz in Barcelona on 21 November 2026 and La Riviera in Madrid on 22 November, with Exit Eden and Temperance as support acts.
The dates will close the European section of a tour that also covers North America. Kamelot will present a new stage production built around the band’s latest album, “Dark Asylum”, which was released on 28 August 2026. Founder and guitarist Thomas Youngblood said the new show represents another evolution for the band on stage and described it as “without equal”.
Tickets are available through the official sales channels. Barcelona tickets start at €40 plus fees, while Madrid tickets are also on sale.
Two Spanish dates close the European run
Exit Eden will bring its multi-vocal arrangements and reinterpretations to both concerts, while Temperance will provide a power metal set combining direct choruses with instrumental virtuosity. The two bands also appeared alongside Kamelot at KAMFEST in Tilburg on 30 and 31 October, where Chilean vocalist Ignacia Fernández of Decessus performed with Kamelot on “Ashen World” and “Sanctuary”.
Our earlier report on Fernández joining KAMFEST covered her live appearance after she contributed to “Dark Asylum”. She first appeared as a guest on “Ashen World” and later shared vocals with Tommy Karevik and Clémentine Delauney of Visions of Atlantis on “Sanctuary”.
Kamelot formed in Tampa, Florida, in 1987 around guitarist Thomas Youngblood. The band’s earlier albums included “The Fourth Legacy”, “The Black Halo” and “Ghost Opera”, followed by “The Awakening” in 2023 and “Dark Asylum” in 2026. Vocalist Tommy Karevik joined the band in 2012, while Youngblood, keyboardist Oliver Palotai, bassist Sean Tibbetts and drummer Alex Landenburg complete the current line-up.
