ENEMY INSIDE have shared the official video for “Rag Doll”, a new song featuring guest vocals from As Everything Unfolds and Lake Malice. The track is taken from the German modern metal band’s album “R.I.P.”, which Reigning Phoenix Music will release on 15 January 2027.
A song about control
The song was written by vocalist Nastassja Giulia and lead guitarist Evan K, who also produced and recorded it. Giulia directed the video and created its story, concept, make-up and hair, while Jonas Sommer filmed and produced the clip. The band’s statement describes “Rag Doll” as a song about breaking free from someone who only loved a controllable version of another person.
‘Rag Doll’ tells the story of breaking free from someone who only loved the version of you, they could control. It’s about reclaiming your voice, your identity and your strength after being treated as something disposable.

The album will contain 11 tracks, including “Welcome To The Anarchy”, “Bad Karma”, “Monster”, “R.I.P.”, “Changes”, “Dopamine”, “Claws”, “Devil’s Work”, “Plastic Heart” and “Into The Dark”. “Rag Doll” is the seventh track and is listed with both guest acts in its title.
Nastassja Giulia leads
Nastassja Giulia has sung with ENEMY INSIDE since the band’s formation in Aschaffenburg in 2017. She also directed the new video and co-wrote the song, giving her a role in both its music and visual presentation. The current line-up is completed by Evan K on lead guitar, Dave Hadarik on rhythm guitar, Dominik Stotzem on bass and Hanno Kerstan on drums.
The release follows “Venom”, the band’s third studio album, which came out through Reigning Phoenix Music in February 2025. Earlier records included “Phoenix” in 2018 and “Seven” in 2021. Hanno Kerstan became the band’s permanent drummer in 2025.
The “R.I.P.” pre-order and the new “Rag Doll” video are available through Reigning Phoenix Music’s official channels.
