Australian vocalist RINRIN has released the digital single “It’s Christmas Time” through Fearless Records, alongside an official music video. The Australian alternative pop-rock artist turns the traditional Santa story into a violent protest about children who are excluded from Christmas gift-giving.
The song combines heavy guitar riffs, breakdowns, electronic elements, melodic vocals and sleigh bells. Its lyrics question Santa’s promise to reward every child, pointing to poor, homeless and orphaned children who do not receive the same treatment. Brenden Van plays the mall Santa, Indey Salvestro provides the narration and Aaron Preusch edited the video. Team RinRin produced and directed it.
We’re told Santa gives presents to all the kids? Well what about poor kids, homeless kids, orphans?
They won’t get that same treatment. This song is about the rage felt by these kids who have their hopes broken by the injustice of Santa.

Fearless Records debut
“It’s Christmas Time” follows RINRIN’s recent signing with Fearless Records and her label debut single, “fever dream”. That earlier release was accompanied by a video combining animation and live-action footage. The new track extends her use of pop structures, electronic textures and heavy instrumentation into a Christmas song built around anger rather than seasonal cheer.
Exploring holiday injustice
RINRIN is the vocalist and central performer on “It’s Christmas Time”. She also created the release’s anti-Santa concept, while Team RinRin produced and directed the official video. The lyrics move from criticism of unequal gift-giving to an exaggerated revenge fantasy involving a hunted Santa, giving the song its deliberately confrontational tone.
