Italian power metal band Frozen Crown have released their sixth studio album, “The Legend Of The Six Kings”. The record came out on 19 October 2026 and follows “War Hearts”, which the Milan group released through Napalm Records in October 2024.
Ten tracks with a Goo Goo Dolls cover
The album holds ten songs, including “The One”, “Lightning In The Sky” and “River Of Time”. It also features an adapted version of “Iris”, originally released by the Goo Goo Dolls. The band’s sound stays on familiar ground: fast rhythms driven by drummer Niso Tomasini and the vocals of frontwoman Giada Etro, with the songwriting shaped by guitarist and keyboardist Federico Mondelli.
A first for Alexandra Lioness
“The Legend Of The Six Kings” is the first Frozen Crown album with new guitarist Alexandra Lioness, who joined the band after playing in the Serbian act Jenner. Her arrival gives the group a three-guitar formation alongside Mondelli and Alessia Lanzone, completed by bassist Francesco Zof and drummer Niso Tomasini.
Etro, Lanzone and Lioness
Giada “Jade” Etro has fronted Frozen Crown since the band formed in Milan in 2017 and is one of its main songwriters together with Mondelli. Alessia Lanzone joined on guitar in 2023. Alexandra Lioness, who plays guitar and previously performed with Hellcats, Chaos Rising, Jenner and Sigma Epsilon, completed the current line-up in 2025.
Frozen Crown began on Scarlet Records, where they released their first four albums, and signed with Napalm Records in June 2023. Since their 2018 debut “The Fallen King”, the band has toured Europe with acts such as DragonForce, Elvenking and Nanowar of Steel.
