Luciferian Light Orchestra have released a lyric video for “Spawn Of Noble Succubus”. The clip appeared on the official YouTube channel of Therion, the Swedish symphonic metal band led by Christofer Johnsson, whose side project the group is. It is described as a vintage rock project inspired by the 1970s.
The line-up
Johnsson plays guitars, Hammond organ and keyboards in Luciferian Light Orchestra and adds backing vocals. Mari Paul handles the lead vocals and Mina Karadžić sings backing vocals, and all three are listed in the line-up since 2014. Mari Paul has also performed live with Therion in the past.
Two albums in the works
On 29 January 2024, Johnsson announced that he already had two albums fully written and partially recorded, with support from Therion and musicians close to that band. Thomas Vikström of Therion has been involved in the writing. In May 2026, Luciferian Light Orchestra announced that they would release the album song by song.
