Hard rockFemale vocalist

Luciferian Light Orchestra is a 1970s-inspired vintage occult rock band formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2014 by Therion mastermind Christofer Johnsson. Conceived around vintage hard rock themes and songs Johnsson felt stepped outside Therion's symphonic boundaries, the band blends Hammond organ melodies and classic blues-based riffs with rich multi-part female vocal harmonies. Fronted on lead vocals by Mari Paul with backing vocals from Mina Karadžić, the collective released their self-titled debut in 2015 and the Black EP in 2016 through Svart Records and Adulruna. After an extended hiatus, the group returned in 2026 to roll out new music song by song, spearheaded by the single 'Spawn Of Noble Succubus'.

Women in Metal Spotlight: Fronted by Estonian vocalist Mari Paul alongside Serbian backing vocalist Mina Karadžić, pairing rich vintage multi-part female vocal harmonies with occult 1970s hard rock.
