ABSTRACTED MIND have released an official live video for their song “Who You Really Are”, filmed during the symphonic metal group’s performance at Poppodium Boerderij in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. The concert took place on 4 September 2026 as part of the showcase presentation for their debut studio album, “Break Down Your Fears”.
The stage clip captures vocalist Juli Hope alongside guitarist and co-vocalist Yamil Ladner, bassist Rutger Klijn, and drummer Eva Levina. Boris Stipdonk recorded the live audio, while Pim Besseler handled stage lighting. Camera production was managed by KnotsandShots, and Ladner completed the video editing, mixing, and mastering.
The Women of Abstracted Mind
ABSTRACTED MIND features two women in its line-up: vocalist Juli Hope and drummer Eva Levina. Hope, a founding member since 2020, provides the band’s clean vocals, which contrast with the harsh vocals of guitarist Yamil Ladner. Outside of the band, she also has a solo project called Imaginary Enemies. Levina provides the rhythmic foundation for the group’s symphonic and progressive metal sound.
From Buenos Aires to Zoetermeer
Originally formed in Buenos Aires before establishing their base in the Netherlands, ABSTRACTED MIND built their catalogue through a sequence of standalone singles. The group previously released the tracks “Where It Begins”, “Despair”, and “Eternals” as they refined their symphonic arrangements. In June 2026, the quartet issued the single “Rise Again” as their final advance track before releasing the full-length album “Break Down Your Fears”.
