AISA have released their second full-length album, “Back in the Street”, on digital platforms. The Chilean quintet spent four years developing the follow-up to “Join Me To Metal” (2022), moving towards a more mature combination of hard rock, AOR and the band’s heavy metal roots.
Unlike the debut, the new record arrived without advance singles, so all of its songs are new to listeners. AISA will present the album live on 28 November at MiBar, Santa Isabel #0350, Providencia, Santiago, with Forzaken as the guest band.
Every song found its identity
Eva Murgas, AISA’s vocalist, said the band gave the material room to develop instead of forcing every song into the same structure.
Throughout the process, we gave ourselves the freedom to try new ideas, experiment and let each song find its own identity, without feeling that they all necessarily had to follow the same structure. Some compositions evolved and changed as we moved forward, incorporating arrangements, nuances and other elements during the collaborative work.

Guitarist Julio Soto built the musical foundation for each song, while Murgas worked mainly on the lyrics and vocal lines. Guitarist Julio Poblete, bassist Andrés Salazar and drummer Gianfranco Ferrera then added arrangements and ideas from their instruments.
The album includes guest appearances from Eduardo “Chino” Góngora on keyboards, Gabriel García on the guitar solo in “Running on Mist” and Rodrigo Varela, who sings alongside Murgas on “Against the Tide”.
Eva Murgas has sung since 2019
Murgas has been AISA’s vocalist since the band formed in Santiago in 2019. She also performs with Eternal Thirst. On “Back in the Street”, she shaped the lyrics and vocal parts while drawing on personal experiences, real situations and the band’s connection with rock and metal.
Back in the Street does not come from a single concept, but from different personal and close experiences, as well as other situations we have gone through over time. Some songs have a directly autobiographical origin, while others take real characters or circumstances as a starting point to build new stories. Some also reflect our relationship with music, rock and metal, so each one has its own background.

From 2022 to MiBar
AISA formed in 2019 and released the singles “Let Us Rock” and “Warriors of Metal” before issuing their debut album, “Join Me To Metal”, in 2022. The new record was recorded across Lezzet Estudios and a home studio: Andrés “Chimbo” Muñoz recorded the vocals and drums at Lezzet, while the guitars, bass and guest parts were recorded at home.
Francisco Pérez produced, mixed and mastered the album, as well as contributing some musical arrangements. Jesús Pérez created the cover artwork. The live launch takes place at MiBar on 28 November, with tickets available through AISA’s official channels.
