Dire End have announced their debut album. The Bilbao technical death metal band will release “Burned to Death”, their first full-length, and confirmed the news in a short statement.
Eight Songs, Six of Them New
The album holds eight tracks, six of which are completely new. The band framed the record as a step forward for a group that formed only last year, and as the release that will show what the five-piece can do in a scene built on technical precision.
Our first album is finally coming out. Eight songs, six of them completely new. See you on the 23rd.

The date in that statement points to a launch show on the 23rd. The band did not name the venue in the announcement.
Erroia on Vocals
Erroia is the vocalist of Dire End and has held the position since the band formed in 2025. She fronts a line-up built around the twin guitars of Iñigo and Peter, with Sergio on bass and Niko on drums. Her voice carries the extreme delivery the band’s technical death metal calls for, and she is the only woman in the current line-up.
From Bilbao, Formed in 2025
Dire End come from Bilbao, in the Basque Country, and started in 2025. Their discography before this album counts two releases: the single “Burned to Death” in 2025 and the single “XI” in 2026. The album shares its title with the earlier single, and the track list draws on material the band has been playing live.
The record is available as a streaming and download release, with high-quality MP3, FLAC and 24-bit/48kHz files offered through the band’s Bandcamp page, where supporters can also stream it without limit. The lyrics printed with the release follow a narrator who walks into the woods, meets a crossroad and a wretched presence, and is burned to death for her beliefs, with the word Akelarre, the Basque sabbath, at the centre of the ritual.
“Burned to Death” is out now.
