The organisers of Full Metal Mayrhofen have confirmed that VISIONS OF ATLANTIS will perform at the 2027 edition of the festival. The event is scheduled to take place from 29 March to 3 April 2027 in the Austrian town of Mayrhofen, located in the Zillertal Alps. VISIONS OF ATLANTIS joins a growing roster of international acts including Callejon, Legion Of The Damned, Nanowar Of Steel, Kupfergold and Sagenbringer.
Six Days in the Alps
The festival programme spans six days and incorporates both village venues and mountain locations. Concerts are split between the Europahaus Mayrhofen, which hosts performances from 29 March to 31 March, and the Waldfestplatz, where the stage moves for the final three days of the event. Beyond the music, the festival offers attendees access to the Penken mountain area for winter sports and sightseeing. Tickets are currently available through Metaltix, with three-day and six-day options providing varying levels of access to the concert venues and the Penkenbahn cable car.
The Voice of the Sea
Clémentine Delauney serves as the female lead vocalist for VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, a role she has held since joining the band in December 2013. Born in 1987, the French singer previously fronted the symphonic metal band Whyzdom and provided backing vocals for Serenity. In addition to her work with VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, she is a member of the symphonic metal supergroup Exit Eden. Her vocal interplay with Michele Guaitoli forms a central component of the band’s current symphonic and maritime-themed sound.
VISIONS OF ATLANTIS formed in 2000 in Bruck an der Mur, Austria, with a concept inspired by the myth of Atlantis. While the group underwent numerous line-up changes during its early years, drummer Thomas Caser remains a constant presence as a founding member. The band initially focused on gothic-tinged symphonic metal before shifting toward a power metal style. Their recent output, including the albums “Pirates” and “Pirates II - Armada”, reflects a thematic transition into pirate-inspired narratives. The band continues to record for Napalm Records, building upon a discography that spans over two decades of activity.
