Obsydiant have released a new single, “All Will Turn To Dust”, together with an official music video. The announcement came through the band’s own YouTube channel on 16 October 2026, where the video is now available.
The clip was made by “musikclip.ch”, while the track was produced and mastered by SOS Basement Productions. The band gave no further details about an upcoming album or EP in the announcement.
The lyrics of “All Will Turn To Dust” move through three stages: life, described as a gift full of promise that ends in bereavement; death, called an ailment with no cure; and love, which the song says breaks the heart but leaves much to gain. The refrain returns to the line “Child welcome to dying” before closing on the title phrase, “All will turn to dust”.
Alexandra Wegmann fronts the band
Obsydiant are a symphonic metal band from Zürich, Switzerland, formed in 2021. Alexandra Wegmann has been the band’s vocalist since that founding year. She fronts a line-up completed by Jarmo Kalilainen and Moritz Minder on guitars, Julian Diaz on drums and David on bass.
The new single follows the band’s 2024 releases: the EP “Obsydiant” and the singles “Dune Messiah” and “Mother of Dragons”. “All Will Turn To Dust” is the band’s first release announced since then.
