Aeva Maurelle has released “Pain”, a new digital single created in collaboration with Jens Faber, musician of the German band Dawn Of Destiny. The single is available exclusively in digital format.
The song deals with the theme of loss and the silence that remains after bereavement, turning pain into a message of comfort and hope. Music and lyrics were written by Jens Faber, while Dennis Köhne handled the mix and mastering.
In “Pain” we deal with a very sensitive theme: loss and the silence that follows. Jens Faber managed to translate all of this musically with such sensitivity and strength that I was deeply moved. Ultimately, the song wants to comfort and give strength: it reminds us that it is right to feel pain, but that we can leave it behind little by little, to look forward again.

From Aeverium to Xandria
Aeva Maurelle is a German metal singer, born on 2 March 1986. She was the co-lead vocalist of the alternative metal band Aeverium, with whom she recorded the EP “The Harvest” in 2013 and the albums “Break Out” (2015) and “Time” (2017). From 2017 to 2019 she was the session singer of symphonic metal band Xandria, stepping in after Dianne van Giersbergen’s departure and touring with the band until 2019. She left Aeverium on 11 September 2018. In 2020 she started the project She & Her Darkness with Maxi Nil and provided lead and backing vocals for the Vivaldi Metal Project’s second studio album. Her solo career began with the single “Dreamer”, published on 12 November 2020.
