Dawn of Destiny is a German power metal band from Bochum that was set up at the end of 2005 by the bassist Jens Faber and mixes in symphonic, gothic, thrash and death metal touches. Jeanette Scherff has sung lead since 2010 and is listed on the band site as a current member beside Faber, the keyboardist Dirk Raczkiewicz, the guitarist Veith Offenbächer, the drummer Philipp Bock and the bassist Michael Marquardt, who joined in August 2025. A tenth album, Ashes Over Tomorrow, is listed for 30 October 2026 on El Puerto Records, with guests Ralf Scheepers and Fabio Lione.
