E-L-R have released a new track called “Oaken Reaper”, taken from the album “Atropa”, which arrives on 6 November through Prophecy Productions.
The announcement is the latest signal from the Bern-based trio, who have kept the same three-piece line-up since forming in 2016. “Atropa” follows their previous full-length, “Vexier”, released in 2022, and sits alongside the single “Opiate The Sun” from the same year. Their discography also includes the 2019 album “Mænad” and the 2018 demo “In Splendour & Sedation”.
Prophecy Productions since “Vexier”
E-L-R have worked with Prophecy Productions throughout the run of their catalogue, and “Atropa” continues that relationship as the label’s release of the record. “Oaken Reaper” gives the first look at the material collected for the album ahead of its 6 November date.
I.R. and S.M. share the vocals
Vocal duties in E-L-R are shared by two members of the line-up. I.R. plays bass and sings, and is identified as female on her own Metal Archives artist page. S.M. plays guitar and also contributes vocals; outside E-L-R she is known for the project Satanic Witch. The third member of the trio, M.K., plays drums.
No further track list or format details for “Atropa” were included in the announcement.
