The Pretty Reckless
The Pretty Reckless is an American hard rock band formed in New York City in 2009 by singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist Taylor Momsen alongside lead guitarist Ben Phillips, bassist Mark Damon, and drummer Jamie Perkins. Known for driving guitar riffs, grunge attitude, and Momsen's raspy, blues-drenched vocal power, the band achieved global recognition with their sophomore album Going to Hell in 2014, propelled by chart-topping rock singles including 'Heaven Knows' and 'Follow Me Down'. The group made music history by becoming the first female-fronted band to score seven number-one singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Subsequent records Who You Selling For (2016) and Death by Rock and Roll (2021) reinforced their status among modern heavy rock's most enduring and dynamic live acts.
