Pyromancy have announced “Building Fences Out Of Bone”, the first single from their second full-length album, “Bone Hex”. The Nanaimo, British Columbia band shared the announcement on 6 November 2026, presenting the song as the opening release from the new album.
The single is part of Pyromancy’s black metal and doom metal catalogue. The announcement confirms the song and album titles, while the band has not published a track list, label, guest list, format or concert dates with this announcement.
From Nanaimo to “Bone Hex”
Pyromancy formed in Nanaimo in 2024. Their first listed release was the full-length album “Blue Spider Totem”, which appeared in 2025, followed by the EP “Pyromancy” in the same year. “Bone Hex” follows those two releases as the group’s second full-length album.
The band’s recorded themes include love, fear and enlightenment. Its current line-up is a two-person operation, with Solphyrus and Phlogiston covering the instruments and vocals between them.
Solphyrus plays drums and sings
Solphyrus plays drums and percussion and provides vocals in Pyromancy. Her role places both the rhythmic foundation and one of the band’s vocal parts at the centre of the group’s music. She performs alongside Phlogiston, who plays guitars, bass and organ and also provides vocals. Together, they form the line-up behind “Building Fences Out Of Bone” and “Bone Hex”.
