MARBLE have released a newly recorded digital version of “At The Gates Of Destruction”, the song that introduced the Italian melodic metal band in 2006. Announced on 6 November 2026, the release marks the group’s 20th anniversary and comes with a lyric video. The updated track has a heavier, more aggressive production, layered harmonies and a symphonic edge, while retaining the song’s melodic foundation.
Giulio Capone returns
The recording features Giulio Capone, drummer of Moonlight Haze and a former producer for MARBLE. His performance gives the reworked song a more forceful rhythmic drive. The band’s current line-up remains unchanged, with Eleonora Travaglino on vocals, Daniel Fleba on bass, Paul Beretta and Omar Gornati on guitars, and Jacopo Marchesi on keyboards.
The original version helped establish MARBLE in 2006. The band, formed in Mortara, Lombardy, in 2003, later released the album “A.t.G.o.d.” in 2008, followed by “S.A.V.E” in 2021 and “T.I.M.E.” in 2024. The anniversary version recasts the early song with the heavier sound the band developed over those releases.
Eleonora Travaglino sings
Eleonora Travaglino has been MARBLE’s vocalist since 2019. Her theatrical yet visceral delivery gives the new recording its vocal focus, set against the revised orchestration and denser guitars. She appears in the band’s current five-member line-up alongside Fleba, Beretta, Gornati and Marchesi.
The lyric video is available online, while the single can be streamed digitally.
