ROSE CARLEO BAND will open their national tour for the ARIA-charting album “42 Days” with three Queensland shows in January 2027. The Australian blues-rock group will play Ipswich on 22 January, the Gold Coast on 23 January and Toowoomba on 24 January, with further dates expected to follow.

Three Queensland dates

The tour begins at CSI Ipswich on 22 January, where the band will be joined by Kill Pill Duo. The next night, ROSE CARLEO BAND will play Hound & Stag on the Gold Coast with Indocile, before finishing the opening run at Bone Idol Brewery in Toowoomba on 24 January.

The shows will draw mainly from “42 Days”, which was released in May 2026, alongside songs from the group’s earlier catalogue. The album reached number 34 on the ARIA Albums Chart and number two on the ARIA Australian Rock Albums Chart, giving the tour a national platform after the band’s Japanese performances and other live work earlier this year.

I can’t wait to get back on the road with the band, kicking off our ’42 Days’ album tour in Queensland this January. Really looking forward playing these songs live and seeing everyone at the shows!

  • Rose Carleo, vocalist and guitarist

Rose Carleo leads the band

Rose Carleo sings and plays guitar in the band, which she formed in 2016 after moving from solo performances to a permanent group. Her current bandmates are guitarist and backing vocalist Mick Adkins, bassist and backing vocalist Bill Kervin, formerly of Dragon, and drummer and backing vocalist Mick O’Shea. Carleo is also the co-producer of the band’s latest single, “Dirt Bound”.

Snibb joins “Dirt Bound”

The album’s two key singles include “Son Of God” and “Dirt Bound”. The latter features guest vocals from Swedish hard rock musician Pontus Snibb, who wrote the song for his band Bonafide before ROSE CARLEO BAND recorded their own version.

The official video credits list Mick Adkins and David Manna as the single’s producers, with Rose Carleo serving as co-producer. David Manna also engineered and mixed the recording, while Adam McElnea mastered it. Snibb recorded his vocals at ALPstudio in Stockholm, while the other sessions took place at A Sharp Recording Studio and Alias Music in New South Wales.

The album’s title track has a personal origin. Carleo wrote “42 Days” six weeks after her sister died in 2024, using the number of days since the loss as the song’s central idea. The record also covers friendship, memory, Australian rock history and Elvis Presley alongside its blues-rock foundations.
