S8NT ELEKTRIC, the Los Angeles pop-metal band fronted by vocalist Bri Carbajal, released their new single “The Fall” on 23 October 2026. All royalties and revenue from the song will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The track is the second single from the band’s upcoming EP “Expose the Feeling”, which is due on 3 December 2026.
A Video Built From Fans’ Memories
The song arrives with an official music video that goes beyond the band’s own grief. S8NT ELEKTRIC invited fans who had lost people to suicide to send photographs and videos of their loved ones, and those submissions became part of the finished video. The credits thank the families who took part and list ten names the band says they will never forget, among them Noah James Perez, Russell Andrew Baker and Aimee Charlotte Howard.
Through the song and the video, the band hopes to encourage people to talk openly about grief, seek support and remember that they are not alone.
Two Musicians, Two Losses
The decision to donate the song’s revenue comes from personal experience inside the band. Earlier this year, Carbajal lost her 18-year-old cousin, Noah James Perez, who died by suicide in April 2026. Drummer Trey Baker has spoken about his uncle, Russell Andrew Baker, who died by suicide before Baker was born, and about a close friend he lost in 2020. Both musicians say these losses shaped them and their families, and pushed them to use their music to support suicide prevention.
The single was written by the band and produced and mixed by guitarist Niko Tsangaris, with mastering by Cameron Lockwood. Carbajal also served as creative director of the video and edited it together with Tsangaris.
Bri Carbajal, The Voice of Saint Electric
Bri Carbajal sings lead vocals in S8NT ELEKTRIC, a name pronounced Saint Electric. She founded the band with Tsangaris, and beyond singing she took on the creative direction and editing of “The Fall” video. Her vocals sit at the centre of the band’s mix of heavy riffs and pop melodies.
From Debut Album to EP
S8NT ELEKTRIC released their debut album “Off the Edge” on 20 March 2026 through Long Branch Records. Before that, the band appeared at festivals including Welcome to Rockville and BottleRock and toured Europe with Wolfmother. “The Fall” now points towards “Expose the Feeling”, the trio’s next release.
For anyone struggling with suicidal thoughts or coping with such a loss, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention offers information and support resources, and in the United States the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline provides free, confidential help by phone or text.
