Lucid Grave have announced a new single called “Nightblade”, set to premiere on 1 November 2026. The Copenhagen doom metal band announced the release with a video that will appear on their YouTube channel on that date. It is the band’s second single of the year, following “Final Kiss”, which came out earlier in 2026.

A Premiere on 1 November

The band has not yet shared details about the song’s sound or length, but the announcement confirms the track as a standalone single for 2026. Listeners will be able to hear it on the band’s Bandcamp and Spotify pages once it is out.

Malene Pedersen on Vocals

Malene Pedersen has sung for Lucid Grave since the band formed in 2017, making her one of its founding members. She also sings in Lewd Flesh, another project from the Danish underground scene. Her voice has been part of every Lucid Grave release so far, from the debut album “Goddess of Misery” in 2020 to the most recent singles.

Eight Years of Copenhagen Doom

Lucid Grave formed in Copenhagen in 2017 and play a mix of doom metal and psychedelic rock. The current line-up also includes Casper Nilsson and Kriller Andersen on guitars, Sammy Sielu on drums since 2023, Yassin on bass since 2025, and Ellisiv Berg on synthesizers, also since 2025. Their full-length albums are “Goddess of Misery” from 2020 and “Cosmic Mountain” from 2022, with singles and a 2024 split release filling the years between.
