Wailing Banshee have released a music video for their new single “All Guns Blazing”. The Manchester heavy metal band put the track out on 23 October 2026, with the video shot by Jay Hillyer and the song produced by Ben Gaines.
The song was written by guitarist Ali McKenzie and singer Dani Bentham. Its lyrics follow a soldier through a battle that turns apocalyptic, with lines about horsemen riding away and refusing a judgement day, before the repeated refrain “We fire, all guns blazing”.
Funding the Debut Album
Alongside the release, the band is asking listeners to support a crowdfunder for its debut album, which is listed for 2027. It would follow a run of recent singles, including “Bible Black” from 2026 and “Lord of the Flies”, “Silence” and “His Dark Materials” from 2025, as well as the 2025 EP “Worlds Apart”.
Joining forces in 2022
Dani Bentham has fronted Wailing Banshee since 2022, when she joined the line-up alongside guitarist Harry Darbyshire. She also sings in Crystal Wolves and Fractures in the Sky. The rest of the band is Richie Parkhouse on bass, Ali McKenzie and Harry Darbyshire on guitars, and Sean Murphy on drums, who joined in 2024.
Wailing Banshee formed in Manchester in 2019 and play heavy metal with hard rock roots. Bookings and management go through Raz at Upstaged Limited.
