Opus Magnum have released a lyric video for “Untold Vestige”, a track from their album “Tămen”. The Mexico City power metal band published the video today, 23 October 2026, on their YouTube channel.
Music by Three Band Members
The song credits list words by bassist David Ortega, while the music was written by Ortega together with guitarists Camila Bucio and Eduardo Zacarías. “Untold Vestige” appears on “Tămen”, the full-length album the band released earlier in 2026. It follows three singles from the same year, “Wherever… Nothing…”, “Dethroned Tyranny” and “Path Forward”.
Zarah Yromog on Vocals
Singer Zarah Yromog has fronted Opus Magnum since 2020. She joined six years after the band formed and sings on “Tămen” and the 2024 EP “Fairy of Death”. She shares the line-up with two other women, guitarist Joselyn Ortega Aquino and acoustic guitarist Camila Bucio Carreño, both in the band since 2022.
Ten Years from Formation to “Tămen”
Opus Magnum formed in Mexico City in 2014, with David Ortega the only remaining founding member. Their catalogue now counts ten releases, from their first material in 2014 through “Labyrinth” in 2022, the “Fairy of Death” EP in 2024 and this year’s album. The band lists existentialism, magic and alchemy among its lyrical themes, and “Untold Vestige” continues that direction on “Tămen”.
