Legacy of the Seas will release a lyric video for “La Noche de las Ánimas” on 30 October 2026, timed to the night of Halloween. The song is the tenth track of the band’s first album, “Leyendas de una Eternidad”, which came out in 2024, and it is also available on Spotify.
A Figure in White in the Graveyard
The band describe the story behind the song: on the evening of 31 October, a man alone in a graveyard sees a figure in white appear, who chooses him as her messiah. She promises him an ideal world in exchange for his fortune, but the truth turns out to be a lie, and on the Night of the Souls his soul becomes just one more. The lyrics are sung in Spanish.

The video was edited by Julen Cestero Portu and is built from public domain works by John Martin, Gustave Doré, Caspar David Friedrich, Arnold Böcklin, Pieter Bruegel and Goya, alongside CC0 photographs. The sound was handled by ESnSE Studios, and the lyrics and music were written by Néstor González, Mikel Arzak, Julen Cestero and Alex González.

Laura Peralta on Vocals
The performers on the track are Laura Peralta, Julen Cestero, Alex González, Sergio González and Juan Pedro Pérez. Peralta has handled vocals since 2023 and also sings in Ilunabar. Sergio González, who played bass from 2024 to 2026, has since moved to drums.
From the Basque Country
Legacy of the Seas formed in 2010 in Donostia-San Sebastián in the Basque Country and play symphonic metal with folk elements. Their debut full-length “Leyendas de una Eternidad” was released in 2024 on Heaven Musik, preceded that year by the singles “Nuestra voz”, “Spirit of Ulia”, “Proscrito” and “El regreso de los dioses”. Their lyrical themes centre on historical fantasy and adventures.
