Sledeon premiere the official lyric video for their new single “Radiate” on 21 October 2026. The track is available on Spotify and other streaming platforms from the same day.
Creative roles and production details
The music was written by bassist Sjors Bes, who also made the video, while the lyrics came from Bes and guitarist Mike van Keulen. Bes produced the song with Milan Steinbach, who mixed and mastered it at Pointbreak Recordings. All instruments were recorded in the Netherlands.
Willem Peters handles drums and additional harsh vocals, with van Keulen and Bes also contributing backing voices behind Hurkens.
Line-up and vocal dynamics
Fabienne Hurkens sings lead in Sledeon, the symphonic metal band from Nijmegen in Gelderland that formed in 2016. She fronts a line-up in which the other three members all add harsh or backing vocals, giving the band a contrast between clean and heavy voices.
Second single of a busy 2026
“Radiate” follows “Phoenix - The End of the Realm”, which Sledeon released earlier in 2026. Their most recent full-length album remains “Futuroscope” from 2024, which arrived alongside the single “Superhuman”. Earlier releases include the EP “Existence” and the single “Evolution”, both from 2022, and the single “The Last Judgment” from 2023.
The lyrics of “Radiate” deal with particles, timelines and existence beyond death, with the chorus promising that love will carry you through the eternal night if you find the power to radiate.
