The Brazilian doom metal band FOHATT will release their new full-length album, “Vernal Quietude”, on 23 October 2026. The band announced that the record will premiere on their official YouTube channel on the same day. The album is released through C.W. Music Records, with distribution handled by Musika Mundi and Mutilation Records.
Cycles of transformation
Production duties for “Vernal Quietude” were handled by Paulo Monteiro at LFX Music Works, who also managed the mixing and mastering. The compositions were written by FOHATT, with additional input from Elvis Limac on the track “Primordial Aurea”. The album features guest appearances from Elvis Limac on vocals for “Primordial Aurea” and Ismael Júnior from Lúgubre on “Hope Never Dies”.
Vernal Quietude is an immersion into silence, nature, and the cycles of transformation. Through atmospheric doom metal, melancholic melodies, heavy guitars, ethereal vocals, and deep growls, FOHATT explores the subtle connections between inner landscapes and the natural world. Rooted in introspection, existential reflection, and the search for liberation beyond imposed dogmas, the album invites the listener to slow down, turn inward, and contemplate the impermanence of existence. A journey through darkness and light, stillness and movement, decay and renewal, where silence becomes a space for transformation.
