Acid King will return to Santiago, Chile, on 23 March 2027, the band announced. The show takes place at Club Ámbar, Ernesto Pinto Lagarrigue 154, Recoleta, and tickets are already available through PortalTickets. The event is restricted to ages 18 and over.
The San Francisco band played their first Chilean show in 2023, and this date will be their first return to the country since then. The announcement promises a set drawn from the group’s back catalogue, built on the heavy, dense riffs that made them one of the established names of stoner and doom metal.

Acid King were formed in San Francisco in 1993 by frontwoman Lori S. together with drummer Joey Osbourne and bassist Peter Lucas. Lori S. sings, plays guitar and writes the band’s lyrics, and she is the only member who has stayed through every line-up change since the beginning. Outside Acid King she has also played in Bhang Revival and Gross National Product. The band has released four studio albums and two EPs, and their name was taken from the nickname of Ricky Kasso, the subject of their self-titled debut EP cover.
