Italian symphonic power metal band Temperance have shared a video for “The Tower: Lean Into Fear”, the third advance single from their eighth album “Arcani”. The record was released on 16 October 2026 through Napalm Records on CD, vinyl and digitally, and it carries 13 tracks. Earlier clips introduced “The Fool”, “The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin” and “Death: Right Before We Die”.
One Track per Tarot Card
“Arcani” is built around the tarot: the songs run from “The Fool” through “The Magician: Into the Fire”, “Death: Right Before We Die”, “The Tower: Lean Into Fear”, “The Devil: Sin, Sin, Sin”, “Temperance: Forgiveness”, “The Chariot: Alla Ricerca dell’America”, “Justice: Shame & Glory”, “The Star: Surrender Control”, “Wheel of Fortune: Come and Call Me”, “The Moon: The Man of Moonlight” and “The Hanged Man: Petrichor”, closing with “The World”.
Marco Pastorino produced the album and wrote the music for the video track “The Fool”, with lyrics by Kristin Starkey. Simone Mularoni recorded, mixed and mastered the album at Domination Studio, and Thomas Ewerhard drew the cover artwork.
Starkey’s Third Album with the Band
Kristin Starkey sings clean female vocals and has been Temperance’s frontwoman since 2023, when she and drummer Marco Sacchetto joined. She also writes lyrics and did additional video recording for the “The Fool” clip. Outside Temperance she has sung with Twilight Force. She follows Chiara Tricarico and Alessia Scolletti in the band’s microphone slot, and “Arcani” is her third album with Temperance after “Hermitage - Daruma’s Eyes Pt 2” (2023) and “From Hermitage To Europe” (2025).
Sixteen Dates With Kamelot
Temperance support Kamelot on the European leg of the Dark Asylum World Tour, with Exit Eden also on the bill. The run opens at KAMFEST in Tilburg on 31 October 2026, where Blackbriar are also billed, and moves through London, Manchester, Oberhausen, Pratteln, Lyon, Stuttgart, Krakow, Warsaw, Zagreb, Budapest, Belgrade, Trezzo sull’Adda, Padova, Toulouse, Barcelona and Madrid, ending at Sala La Riviera on 22 November 2026.
Two further shows are listed for spring 2027 under the Symphonic Metal Nights banner: Szene in Vienna on 2 April 2027 and Explosiv in Graz on 4 April 2027. “Arcani” follows the 2023 concept album “Hermitage - Daruma’s Eyes Pt 2” and continues the band’s run of releases on Napalm Records.
