IGNEA have posted a full album preview of “Monumental” on their official YouTube channel, ahead of the record’s release on 23 October 2026 through Napalm Records. The stream gives listeners the whole album before the release date.
Alongside the preview, the band announced a preorder draw covering everyone who orders the CD or vinyl of “Monumental” through Napalm Records. Two winners will be picked, each receiving a personalized copy of the “Monumental” zine, a guest list place at the upcoming EU/UK tour and 50 euro of credit to spend in the IGNEA merch store. The offer runs until the end of 22 October 2026, the day before the album comes out.
Two winners, one zine and a guest list slot
The preorder window closes with the album’s arrival, so the draw is tied directly to the final day of advance sales. Napalm Records handles the orders and the label’s page for the band carries the release.
Helle Bohdanova out front
Vocalist Helle Bohdanova has fronted IGNEA since the band formed in Kyiv in 2013 and has appeared on every release so far. She is the voice of the group’s records, which mix melodic death metal and symphonic metal with progressive and Middle Eastern folk elements, a combination IGNEA call oriental metal.
From “Dreams of Lands Unseen” to “Monumental”
“Monumental” follows “Dreams of Lands Unseen” from 2023. Before that IGNEA released “The Realms of Fire and Death” in 2020 and “The Sign of Faith” in 2017, plus the “Sputnik” EP in 2013 and the “BESTIA” split EP with ERSEDU in 2021, all while working with Napalm Records. The band began as Parallax and took the IGNEA name in 2015. The current line-up is Bohdanova on vocals, Dmytro Vinnichenko on guitar, Oleksandr Kamyshin on bass and Yevhenii Zhytniuk on keyboards.
