Cosmic Eve has released a new single titled “GODZILLA”. The song came out on 15 October 2026 and is available on Bandcamp and YouTube, as the project announced on its official YouTube channel.
The artist describes the track as “a psychedelic doom hymn for the Empress of the Deep”. The description speaks of a creature that rises from the ocean beneath a violet storm and a dying sun, carrying “the weight of an ancient crown”. Musically, the song is built on fuzzed out riffs, heavy drums and haunting vocals, and it presents its subject not as a monster to be conquered but as a sovereign force of nature.
One woman, every instrument
Cosmic Eve is a solo project from San Antonio, Texas, formed in 2013, with Cosmic Eve herself handling everything: writing, playing, singing, producing and even the cover art of “GODZILLA”. She is also known for her work in Crypt Lord. Her earlier releases include the EP “Cosmic Eve” from 2026, the single “Through the Portal” from 2023, the full-length “Trance Sylvania” from 2017 and the EP “The Ice Mistress” from 2015. Her lyrics typically draw on dark fantasy, occult themes and allegory, and “GODZILLA” fits that pattern with its image of a crowned empress rising from the sea.
“GODZILLA” follows the self-titled EP released earlier this year and is the project’s first new song since “Through the Portal” in 2023.
