Sylvaine will play the Burning Q Festival 2027. The organisers confirmed the atmospheric metal project on 23 October 2026, together with The Night Eternal, Moribund Oblivion and Teutonic Slaughter. The open air takes place from 22 to 24 July 2027 in Freißenbüttel near Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Lower Saxony.
21 Acts and Counting
With the four additions, the bill now stands at 21 announced acts. The confirmed lineup so far also includes Asphyx, Bianca, Celestielle, Eternal Evil, Fimbul Winter, Hellripper, Hunger, Kerrigan, Necrotic Woods, Nicht, Ondfødt, Revel In Flesh, Spell, Struck A Nerve, The Black Court, The Omega Swarm and Traitor. The festival again mixes a broad range of metal styles, from death and black metal to heavy and doom.
A Quieter Voice on a Heavy Bill
Sylvaine stands out on a bill otherwise dominated by death, thrash and black metal acts. The project of Norwegian multi-instrumentalist Kathrine Shepard moves between atmospheric black metal and shoegaze-influenced soundscapes, and her live band brings that layered material to festival stages across Europe. Her appearance gives the Burning Q audience a contrast to the growls and blast beats around her.
Sold Out Last Year, Vehicle Ticket Needed
The 2026 edition sold out several weeks before the festival took place, and the organisers say advance sales for 2027 are developing positively. Anyone planning to sleep in their own vehicle needs a separate vehicle ticket, which costs five euros per car regardless of the number of occupants. It is available in the online shop and on site.
Hardtickets are sold in the online shop and at the long-standing advance sale points Hot Shot Records and Musicland OHZ in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, as well as at the Vereinsheim Freißenbüttel.
