Barloventos have put out the official video for “Barba Blanca”, a single taken from “Relatos de los 7 mares: Acto final”. The clip was posted through the band’s own YouTube channel, where the group told followers it was bringing “una nueva historia y un nuevo video” and that the single is now available to hear.
A video shot in a Viedma museum
The band credits El Galeón Prod. with recording and mixing the track, while the video was filmed and edited by Némesis Prod. and Delta Studio. Barloventos also thanked the Museo Salesiano “Cardenal Cagliero” of the Municipalidad de Viedma for lending the location used in the shoot.
Three dates before the chapter closes
Alongside the release, the group laid out what it called its captain’s log. Barloventos play Octobeer in Viedma on 25 October, then mark the launch of the Acto final on 7 November. On 12 December they appear at Beatflow in Buenos Aires, billed as the last date of the Navegando a tu Encuentro tour. Tickets for that final show are on sale through Passline. In its message the band wrote that there is little time left to meet again, close this chapter and toast together to everything lived on the journey.
Gabriela Iglesias joins the crew
Violinist and vocalist Gabriela Iglesias has been in the Barloventos line-up since 2025. She is the woman in a nine-piece band built around three guitarists, twin violins, keyboards and a rhythm section. Her arrival came the same year the group issued “Relatos de los 7 mares” and its second act, the albums that the new Acto final instalment now completes.
From Epitafios to the seventh sea
Barloventos formed in 2012 in Viedma, Río Negro, Argentina, on the country’s Atlantic coast, after an earlier stretch as Epitafios. Their catalogue, logged at Metal Archives, counts 17 releases beginning in 2014, with singles such as “Navegando a tu Encuentro”, “Tortuga” and “Bandera negra” arriving in 2024. The band plays Folk Metal and Power Metal and writes about pirates and fantasy, a theme the sea-faring titles of the current cycle continue.
