Bare Infinity

Bare Infinity is a Greek symphonic metal band formed in 2003 by guitarist and songwriter Tomas Goldney. As one of the pioneers of the genre in Greece, the group built a reputation through extensive touring and early distinctions before their debut. Their discography includes the 2009 album Always Forever and the 2011 EP The Passage. In 2012, the lineup shifted significantly with the arrival of Italian singer and actress Ida Elena DeRazza. This new configuration produced the single Race of Destiny, produced by Jacob Hansen, which paved the way for their 2017 studio album The Butterfly Raiser. Produced by Max Morton, the album received widespread critical acclaim and multiple album of the year nominations, including an invitation to the Independent Music Awards in New York. The band continued to perform at major festivals, such as Belenus in Switzerland in 2019. During the pandemic, they released digital singles and an acoustic EP. Currently, the band is active and working on a new album scheduled for release in 2025.

Women in Metal Spotlight: Ida Elena DeRazza serves as the band's lead vocalist, bringing a powerful operatic style to their symphonic metal compositions. She joined the Greek outfit in 2012 and has been central to their recent critical acclaim.
